Cybersecurity for small and medium-sized businesses

Practical security for businesses without an in-house security team. We find where you’re exposed and close the gaps that matter most.

Security

What we do

Security incidents in smaller businesses usually start with something ordinary: a reused password, a convincing phishing email, a laptop that hasn’t been updated, or a backup nobody has ever tried to restore. We review your accounts, devices, systems and everyday habits to find these weak points.

Then we put protection in place in proportion to the risk: two-step sign-in, sensible access permissions, device updates, backups you can actually restore, and short training so staff can spot suspicious messages. You get a plain written summary of what we found and what changed.

What this covers

  • Security reviews
  • Access and account controls
  • Backups and recovery planning
  • Staff security awareness

Process

How we work

  1. 01

    Review

We look at your accounts, devices, systems, data and the way your team works day to day.

  2. 02

    Prioritise

You get a short list of risks, ranked by how likely and how damaging they are, and how much effort each fix takes.

  3. 03

    Fix

We put the agreed controls in place and give staff clear instructions for anything that changes for them.

  4. 04

    Check again

We review your setup at an agreed interval, because new staff, tools and threats change the picture.

FAQs

Common questions

Is this only for large companies?

No. Smaller businesses are often targeted precisely because they have fewer defences, and the basics are affordable to put in place.

Will this disrupt our work?

We plan changes with you and roll them out in stages, with clear instructions for staff, so work carries on.

Can you help us comply with data protection law?

We can put technical measures in place that support compliance with laws such as Nigeria’s Data Protection Act. For legal advice, you’ll still need a lawyer.

Do you work with clients outside Nigeria?

Yes. We’re based in Lagos, Nigeria, and work with clients across Nigeria and worldwide. We agree meeting times and how quickly we respond at the start of each engagement.
